As a regular engineer, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and possess significant experience in power systems, ideally more than five years, particularly in NERC compliance. Your expertise in dynamic modeling and your ability to analyze field tests will be crucial. Working alongside a committed team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and foster relationships with clients through effective communication and rigorous analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute NERC compliance studies according to MOD-025 standards
• Develop, validate, and calibrate dynamic models
• Analyze field tests to evaluate hydroelectric and wind facilities
• Prepare and submit compliance reporting documentation
• Collaborate closely with clients and project stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• At least five years of industry experience
• Knowledge of power system simulations, particularly PSS®E
• Expertise in stability studies and control systems
• Proficient in both English and French
