Prospect Reporting to the Reality Capture Manager, the Geomatics Specialist will support the collection, processing, and analysis of LiDAR and survey data to enable accurate modeling and design integration across projects.
Responsibilities Operate and process static, mobile, and UAV LiDAR systems for field data collection.
Analyze, manipulate, and clean 3D point cloud datasets to ensure accuracy.
Perform feature extraction from point clouds, applying topographic survey knowledge and industry standards.
Develop and refine 3D models including pipes, surfaces, corridors, bridges, and other infrastructure elements.
Support integration of survey and LiDAR data into CAD, BIM, and GIS environments.
Conduct QA/QC checks on spatial and modeling outputs to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Collaborate with survey, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment of deliverables.
Maintain documentation, standards, and workflows related to LiDAR processing and 3D modeling.
Qualifications Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.




Strong experience with point cloud processing and 3D modeling tools (Leica Cyclone, Trimble Business Center, CloudWorx, Pix4D, etc.).
Solid understanding of topographic surveying principles and feature extraction.
Experience with CAD and/or BIM tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, etc.).
Familiarity with geospatial data workflows and coordinate systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
Valid driver’s license.
Pay The expected pay range is $85,000 – $100,000 per year. Individual pay is determined based on work location, education, experience, unique skills, and job conditions.
