Join our team in Toronto as a Mainframe QA Tester for a 1-Year Contract with a hybrid work model. Utilize your expertise in COBOL, JCL, and database testing to ensure application quality.

We are looking for experienced Mainframe QA Testers. In this role, you will validate mainframe applications through functional, regression, and system testing. You will be actively involved in Agile/Scrum meetings and required to perform batch testing while collaborating closely with developers and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review business requirements and create detailed test cases
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing on applications
• Validate data using DB2 and SQL queries efficiently
• Test batch jobs and process JCL correctly
• Report and track defects using JIRA or HP ALM

Requirements:
• Proven experience in Mainframe QA testing
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM
• SQL knowledge for backend/database testing is essential
• Experience with batch testing methodologies
• Familiar with Agile methodology and problem-solving skills
