In this vital position, you will address the challenges of clients with serious addictions and mental health disorders. Your work will focus on trauma-informed care, providing timely interventions, and connecting clients with necessary community resources. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will facilitate treatment planning and offer supportive counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial screenings and assess client urgency
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop recovery-oriented treatment options
• Manage case follow-up and evaluations
• Engage with community services for holistic care
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum of two years relevant experience
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices
• Eligibility for skilled license
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
