Truck Coordinator, Transport and Logistics
About the Unit

Responsibilities
The Truck Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective movement of fertilizers from all Yara Canada and Yara Belle Plaine warehouses. Accommodate the growth in truck transportation activities by coordinating activities between Sales, Customer Service, and Operations.
Manage carrier network (onboarding, relationships, rates, audits, and performance tracking)
Coordinate truck transportation across multiple warehouses, optimizing scheduling, carrier allocation, and delivery performance
Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations, including customs requirements and audits
Support contract execution, shipment planning, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer commitments
Oversee reporting, system data (SOMS), and financial processes, including netbacks, fuel surcharges, and invoicing accuracy
Partner cross-functionally (AP, rail, customs brokers) to resolve issues, support planning, and maintain operational efficiency and safety
Education, Experience & Skill
Minimum three years of experience within Truck Logistics.
College/University Degree is highly desired, but not a requirement.
Equivalent combinations of education and appropriately related experience will be considered.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Solid team & support orientation
ERP knowledge, preferably SAP
Good Microsoft skills, specifically MS Outlook and Excel
