In this role, you will mentor about 20 engineers and detailers, review intricate shop drawings, and solve constructability challenges. A robust focus on transitioning from AutoCAD to Microvellum is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and coach engineers and detailers in the department
• Review complex architectural millwork shop drawings
• Identify errors and constructability issues proactively
• Develop and standardize engineering procedures and practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various project teams
Requirements:
• 10+ years in custom architectural millwork
• Advanced expertise in AutoCAD and fabrication-ready drawings
• Solid knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
• In office presence required five days a week
