Join the Augustana Faculty to teach AUPSY 483 Psychological Disorders during Fall Term 2026. This role inspires students to critically evaluate mental health concepts in person at Augustana Campus.
A sessional teaching position is open in the Psychology and Mental Health program for Fall 2026. You will be responsible for developing engaging lecture materials that address both western and non-western perspectives on mental health diagnostics. Additionally, you will evaluate students through various assessments and offer office hours to foster student learning. While primarily in-person, hybrid options may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and present lecture materials on psychological disorders
• Encourage critical analysis of mental health diagnostics
• Prepare and grade examinations and assessments
• Maintain office hours for student support
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Psychology required
• Must be a Registered Psychologist in Canada
• Demonstrated teaching excellence at the post-secondary level
