Be an integral part of KOBE Inquest as an Addictions Worker in the Safe Sobering Space, providing supervision and support to youth navigating detoxification. Focus on safety and cultural sensitivity for ages 13-21.

Applicants should have a diploma or degree in Social Work and a robust background in counseling, particularly within First Nations communities. This position emphasizes both crisis response and the development of culturally appropriate after-care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in immediate crisis situations
• Ensure a safe, supportive setting during detox
• Maintain detailed documentation of all interactions
• Liaise with community agencies for student referrals
• Facilitate addiction prevention workshops and training

Requirements:
• Social Work diploma or degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in related fields
• Strong knowledge of First Nations issues and practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
