Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maximizing the effectiveness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and boast 3 to 7 years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from engineering deliverables to participatory design in capital projects, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop essential process engineering deliverables like P&IDs; and operation theories
• Carry out optimization of asphalt and thermal oil processes
• Collaborate with plant engineers to create and explain specifications
• Participate in capital investment engineering projects
• Conduct Process Hazard Analyses to ensure safety
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 7 years of process-related work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Six Sigma knowledge considered an asset
• Travel availability for Canada and U.S. projects
