In this key role, the Planning Superintendent will provide leadership to a centralized planning group under the Planning Manager. Focused on implementing maintenance strategies and Lean Manufacturing, your responsibilities will include managing teams, analyzing data, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. You will be pivotal in enhancing operational excellence through effective coaching and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the organization of planning group strategies
• Enforce safety culture and progressive practices
• Support Lean Manufacturing process implementation
• Manage projects from development to close-out
• Track and analyze maintenance KPIs and equipment reliability
Requirements:
• 5-7 years in a planning leadership role
• 10 years of experience in mining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and SAP Maintenance
• Six Sigma certification preferred
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
