Your New Role and Team
Sanctuary AI, a world leader in building dexterity-driven Physical AI for general-purpose robots, is looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People team.

Reporting to the Director, People, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional employee experience while helping the organization scale. This is a highly cross‑functional role that provides exposure to many areas of People Operations, employee programs, and talent initiatives.

In a given week, you might onboard new hires, coordinate immigration documentation with external legal partners, support our employee benefits programs, manage our co‑op and intern hiring process, answer employee questions, organize conference participation logistics, and support broader People initiatives across the company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and is excited to build experience across multiple areas of People Operations. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable handling administrative details, coordinating programs, improving processes, and supporting strategic projects. As a startup, our team regularly works across a wide range of topics and priorities, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys learning, taking ownership, and building breadth across the People function.

Our Success Criteria

Deliver a best‑in‑class onboarding experience that helps new employees become productive, engaged, and connected from day one

Coordinate key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employment changes, leave administration, employment verification requests, and offboarding

Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions related to benefits, policies, programs, and People processes

Support the administration and continuous improvement of employee perks and wellness programs

Coordinate immigration, global mobility,



and international travel processes by partnering with employees, managers, and external legal counsel

Manage Sanctuary AI's co‑op and intern hiring programs, partnering with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process

Coordinate employee participation in conferences, events, and external engagements around the world

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across People systems, including BambooHR

Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the employee experience

Qualifications
Your Experience

2+ years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, Talent Operations, Recruiting Coordination, Employee Experience, or a related field

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience supporting employee onboarding, HR administration, employee programs, or related operational processes

Experience coordinating multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities simultaneously

Experience working with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and other business software tools

Experience supporting co‑op, intern, university recruiting, or other early talent programs is an asset

Experience coordinating immigration processes, global mobility programs, or working with external legal counsel is an asset

Experience working within a startup, high‑growth, or technology‑focused workplace is an asset

Familiarity with BambooHR or similar platforms is an asset
