Join The Boyd Group as an Acquisitions Accountant in Winnipeg, Manitoba, leading accounting for business acquisitions. This role involves managing purchase price allocations and partnering with cross-functional teams.

The Acquisitions Accountant will take charge of valuation tasks for intangible assets and ensure accurate month-end and quarter-end close activities associated with acquisitions. An ideal candidate has extensive experience in both U.S. GAAP and IFRS. You will leverage your analytical skills to track accounting entries related to holdbacks and earnouts while collaborating with Corporate Development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead purchase price allocations for new acquisitions
• Record detailed Work-in-Progress entries




• Monitor accounting entries for liabilities and adjustments
• Build operating budgets for current locations
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end schedules

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Knowledge of ASC 805 and IFRS 3
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Workday
