As a Permanent Full time Aviation Safety Officer, you play an essential role in enhancing Ornge's safety culture. You will manage risk assessments, oversee emergency response plans, and ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with various stakeholders. This position is key to maintaining and improving aviation safety across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments
• Develop strategic mitigation plans and corrective actions
• Monitor safety controls and adapt as needed
• Review and revise SMS documentation for compliance
• Coordinate emergency exercises and training sessions
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Aviation Management or similar
• Minimum 5 years of aviation experience
• Robust organizational and planning skills
• Experience with Risk assessments in aviation
