What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a growing cybersecurity team
- Drive the execution of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and priorities
- Oversee cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, monitoring, and incident response
- Partner with business and technology leaders to integrate cybersecurity into key decisions and processes
- Translate cybersecurity concepts and risks into meaningful business insights for executives and stakeholders
- Advance cybersecurity capabilities across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premise environments
- Support compliance with regulatory, audit, privacy, and industry security requirements
- Foster a culture of security awareness, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or a related field, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
- Experience presenting to executives, boards, clients, regulators, or other senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives in matrixed environments
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, security engineering, incident response,
and cybersecurity governance
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO
- Strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
- English proficiency (daily collaboration with teams outside Québec)
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or similar certifications
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, government, Crown corporations, or other regulated industries
- Experience supporting environments that manage sensitive information or essential services
- Experience leading cybersecurity transformation or modernization initiatives
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and cybersecurity considerations related to AI
- Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
Security Clearance Requirement
Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) is required. The applicant must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship status.
Pay Range
$120,336 - $171,908 CAD (Base Pay) with potential performance‑based incentive programs. Final compensation may vary based on qualifications and experience.
