JOB SUMMARY
Under moderate supervision, provides support for month‑end closing requirements including fixed assets, journal entries, banking, financial reporting and closing requirements. Acts as a liaison between multiple departments to resolve issues or answer inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs accounting functions including monthly account reconciliations, monitoring certain monthly accruals and preparing journal entries in order to ensure proper reporting financials.
Maintains and analyzes fixed asset ledger in order to ensure purchases are classified properly and fall within budget.
Performs and analyzes monthly closing and various daily activities in relation to inventory and cash management.
Ensures internal controls are operating correctly with the goal of zero deficiencies through JSOX auditing.
Performs financial analysis and assists in financial reporting activities in order to ensure proper recording of transactions.
Investigates and analyzes accounting and financial related data in order to reconcile and audit information.
Performs more complex intercompany account reconciliation.
Assists with process improvement activities including maintaining and implementing internal controls.
Acts as a liaison between internal departments and other DENSO locations in order to resolve outstanding issues.
Performs monthly financial reporting as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
0-3 Years of Related Experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must also have knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss or transmit primarily factual information to internal and external customers in the normal course of performing duties.
Strong analytical skills to investigate, interpret and reconcile information from several distinct sources in situations where conclusions or resolutions are discernible.
Customer service skills to display a service‑oriented attitude in addressing and responding to customer issues.
Intermediate understanding of accounting principles.

Salary Range
Range of Expected Annual Salary, inclusive of discretionary annual bonus: $59,220 – $75,845
RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate, analyze, and reconcile accounting and financial information.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
Act as a liaison between internal departments and affiliates.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure efficient processes.
Assist in month‑end and year‑end close procedures.
Maintain and update financial records and databases.
Prepare financial reports and present findings to management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Provide support and training to junior accounting staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to recent systems and processes.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an asset.
