Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.Group Summary:The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.Job Responsibilities:Wage Range: ~ 45.00/HourEnsure that individual job target hours are met and identify opportunities to reduce overall hoursEnsure all tasks are completed in a timely mannerPerform repairs on equipment maintenance with attention to safety, quality, cost and timingPerform Preventative maintenance (PMs) on all equipment and machinesKnowledgeable on the construction and practical application of the various machines and equipment in the CNC machining department and the overall shopMaintenance of general plant systems and equipmentOperate crane, fork truck and high reach equipmentStrong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and their operationAcquire information to assist with maintenance and repair process(es) to specifications from vendor supplied schematics, data, drawings and instructions with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical components and operationSafely manufacture, modify or repair of components that may be required on machinery or in the plantSafely operate manual saws, lathes and milling/drilling machines to manufacture,



modify or repair components that may be required on machinery or in the plantRepair various types of pumps and related valvesRemove and replace various types of bearings and sealsRepair drive systems on machines such as ball screw, linear guide, belt or direct drive, etc, as well as screw and belt type conveyor systemsWeld using oxy/acetylene, TIG and MIGRig and handle various sizes, shapes and weights of machinery and equipmentEnsure all spares, equipment, tooling, etc. within the department under your control are managedInstruct both the theory and practical applications of the maintenance and repair processes and best practices to all members of the team respecting skill levels, with attention to safety, quality, cost and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)Operate and instruct on the Tycos Maintenance Database and Work Order systemParticipate in the flow of information within the departmentInteract with Management, Team Leaders, Senior Machinists, etc.Travel may be required for training, technical benchmarking, etc.Available for telephone support and Call-In’s, as requiredSupport and interact with Service and Maintenance Specialists contracted to perform specific tasks on machines, equipment and the plantEducation:Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma or equivalentCertificate of Qualification as Industrial Millwright #433A (Licensed)Licensed to work on high reach equipmentExperience:Currently registered as a Maintenance MillwrightPrior mechanical work experience in automotive industry or CNC machine shop is requiredSkills:Strong ability to work independentlyStrong knowledge of general plant systems and equipmentGood knowledge of industrial electronicsUnderstand the information required to assist with maintenance and repair process(s) to specifications from vendor supplied schematics, data,
