To support our growth, we are looking for a QHSE Supervisor to join our team.
Responsabilities Ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvement in operational processes
Monitor and enforce quality control measures across departments
Support the preparation and execution of external audits (e.g., ISO 9001)
Supervise the development and enforcement of health and safety programs in the workplace
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and mitigate risks
Lead accident and incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and documented
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices
Raise environmental awareness and oversee waste management, recycling, and energy conservation initiatives
Deliver training and awareness sessions on QHSE practices, regulatory compliance, and emergency response procedures
Maintain records of training and certifications to ensure employees meet required qualifications
Identify potential health, safety, and environmental risks and implement mitigation strategies
Investigate incidents, near misses,
and safety concerns and ensure corrective measures are applied
Ensure compliance with applicable local, provincial, and federal QHSE regulations
Prepare reports on QHSE performance, trends, and key issues for management
Support the QHSE Manager in maintaining and updating compliance documentation
Maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure readiness of emergency equipment
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in QHSE processes
Monitor and track QHSE KPIs and support the achievement of organizational objectives
Profile Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3 to 5 years of experience in a QHSE role
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems
Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent are considered an asset
Ability to work in various environments (office, shop floor, or field)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to train and mentor employees on QHSE matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QHSE management tools
Advanced French and intermediate English (bilingualism is an asset)
