Key Responsibilities
Risk Management & Governance – Collaborate with first and second line of defense teams to identify, assess, monitor, and report on risk exposures across Personal Lending and Home Financing portfolios.
Support development, enhancement, and execution of governance frameworks aligned with regulatory and internal standards.
Fraud Programs & Controls – Design and continuously improve fraud risk management programs and controls. Monitor emerging fraud trends and risks, ensuring timely escalation and response.
Issue Identification & Remediation – Investigate emerging risks and issues, coordinate timely remediation and corrective actions, lead policy updates and change management activities.
Process & Control Documentation – Document end‑to‑end processes, controls, and associated risks; conduct and maintain risk and control assessments (RCSAs).
Program & Initiative Leadership – Lead cross‑functional initiatives focused on risk reduction, fraud prevention,
and loss mitigation; provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with business leaders, risk, compliance, and audit teams to align priorities and risk management practices.
Qualifications
Typical 5–7 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
In‑depth product knowledge for the designated business/portfolio.
Strong understanding of risk‑management theory, processes, portfolio‑management reporting techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in modelling, analytics concepts, and technology applied to risk systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, problem‑solving, influence, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
Ability to work independently, handle non‑routine situations, and drive initiatives cross‑functionally.
Salary
$69,000.00 – $129,000.00 (salaried)
