Our Toronto based client is seeking an experiencedSAP IS-U Billing Lead to join their project on a long term contract.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience withSAP Utilities along with project implementations in a lead capacity or related roles.

This will be a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing solution: rate design (schemas/operands/variants), TOU/interval billing, proration, reversals/back-billing, adjustments, refunds, billing cycles, and output/presentment.

Lead integrations with Device Management/EDM (reads, VEE), FI-CA (posting, dunning, payments/returns, deposits), CRM/Service, and print/payment channels; define interfaces, events/APIs, and robust error handling (EMMA).

Define and govern data migration and parallel billing strategy; run bill comparisons and reconciliations to achieve bill quality targets; drive defect triage to closure.





Establish performance and control frameworks: volume/performance benchmarks, exception processing, revenue assurance, audit/regulatory compliance.

Drive delivery across design/build/SIT/UAT/cutover/hypercare; lead workshops, backlog and team/vendor management; chair design reviews, manage risks/dependencies, and align to enterprise architecture and standards.

For brownfield/phased rollouts, define transition and coexistence architecture (legacy interaction, determinants mapping, interim read sources) and decommissioning approach; 810+ years IS-U Billing leadership with robust FI-CA/EDM integration and S/4HANA experience preferred.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
