Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional working in the Middle East's oil and gas sector? Are you considering a move to Canada? We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Canada. Key Responsibilities:
Process, verify, and manage invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure data accuracy.
Maintain organized and precise financial records.
Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as needed.
Respond to vendor inquiries, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support the finance team with additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.




Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Formal accounting training or education is required.
Experience with financial and cost accounting is an asset.
Competitive hourly wage/salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour.
Full time, permanent position with 32.5 - 38 hours/week.
