Job Title: SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Pay Rate: $80- $85/hr. CAD

Must Have

10+ years of experience leading and conducting business and system analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and document the business/system requirements in such a way that I⁢ solutions can be designed.

Proven experience in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.

Proven experience in conducting business and system analysis in respect to building data marts/data warehouses/data lakehouse or Business Intelligence/Data Analytics and Reporting solutions.

Demonstrated experience working as a business analyst in large/complex data migration projects.

Demonstrated experience with writing user stories and using tools such as DevOps.

Resumes Evaluation/Criterias

Criteria 1: Business Analysis Experience - 25 Points

10+ years of experience leading and conducting business and system analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and document the business/system requirements in such a way that I⁢ solutions can be designed.

Experience conducting analyses at varying levels of detail, appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with OPS standards.

Experience conducting business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects, including screen specifications, business rules, data migration requirements, etc.

Proven experience in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies, with emphasis on agile.

Criteria 2:



Dynamics 365 CE / F&O; Experience - 25 Points

Proven experience in conducting business and system analysis in respect to building data marts/data warehouses/data lakehouse or Business Intelligence/Data Analytics and Reporting solutions built against Dynamics 365 CE and F&O; data.

Experience in conducting business and system analysis for a Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O; solution or other CRM/ERP solutions.

Criteria 3: Quality Assurance - 15 Points

Experience creating use cases, test plans, test cases, test scripts ideally around reporting and/or data migration.

Experience with defect management processes, defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution.

Familiarity with industry-standard quality assurance practices, such as ISO standards, CMMI, or Agile methodologies.

Criteria 4: Data Analysis - 25 Points

Demonstrated experience working as a business analyst in large/complex data migration projects.

Basic knowledge of SQL language; ability to execute SQL queries.

Understanding of concepts around ETL, data quality, data cleaning, data issues’ handling.

Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as PowerBI.

Criteria 5: DevOps and Agile - 10 Points

Demonstrated experience with writing user stories and using tools such as DevOps.
