Edward Jones is a financial services firm where the role of a Financial Advisor involves partnering with clients to help them achieve long‑term financial goals, including retirement, wealth building, estate planning, and education funding. The advisor will develop and grow their own practice, supported by client support, home‑office teams and regional advisors.

Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand and achieve their long‑term financial goals.

Develop and grow an independent practice, leveraging company resources.

Collaborate with client support, home‑office, and regional teams to deliver client service.

Maintain regulatory compliance, including analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Four years of financial industry work experience OR a university degree or college diploma.

Financial services registration, licensing, or certifications preferred.

Experience in sales, business development, and/or client acquisition.

Experience in client prospecting.

Ambition, self‑motivation and commitment to establishing long‑term client relationships.

Goal‑oriented with critical thinking skills.

Maturity to serve the investing public.





Analytical and communication skills to carry out regulatory requirements.

Benefits & Compensation
The compensation model includes a reliable commission grid, up to three profitability bonuses per year, profit sharing, opportunity for limited partnership, and compensation programs such as trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to four years, commissions, and compensation for new assets gathered for the first five years. Supplemental starting salary range is $38,500 – $100,000.
