Fraser Academy is hiring a Learning Specialist dedicated to improving outcomes for students with learning differences in Vancouver. This full time position focuses on individualized instructional strategies.

As part of the Learning Services team, you will utilize your Orton Gillingham training to craft and implement learning plans for students in Grades 1-12. This role offers the chance to work closely with students, enhancing their literacy and cognitive processing skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual support for students' learning needs
• Create engaging lesson plans based on Orton Gillingham techniques
• Monitor and contribute to students' IEPs and progress reports




• Lead instruction in executive functioning curriculum
• Supervise students during breaks and support school events

Requirements:
• Certification in Orton Gillingham methodology required
• Four-year Bachelor’s degree necessary
• Two years’ experience working with students with learning differences
• Strong communication and time management abilities
• Commitment to professional growth and community involvement
