We are looking for Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics who are motivated and attentive to detail. The position requires maintaining various underground equipment while working on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule. Ideal candidates will embrace diversity and have excellent communication skills to work in a cooperative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and service underground mining equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns
• Maintain thorough repair history and equipment records
• Communicate effectively with other departments
• Support planning and scheduling of work tasks
Requirements:
• Saskatchewan Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification; Red Seal preferred
• Valid General Mine Safety Awareness training
• First Aid/CPR certification and WHMIS trained
• Experience in underground work deemed an asset
• Valid driver’s license along with a clean driving record
