Enhance spectrum engineering with Telesat as a Spectrum Regulatory Engineer. Ensure the successful integration of regulatory processes in the Lightspeed non-geostationary LEO system design.
In this pivotal role, you will work alongside design and modeling teams to implement solutions that adhere to spectrum regulatory frameworks. You will also play a crucial part in developing software in Matlab, assessing compliance with ITU recommendations, and performing technical analyses for frequency coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Matlab-based software for system modeling
• Integrate spectrum regulations into software solutions
• Align system design with ITU emission constraints
• Analyze frequency coordination for ITU technical filings
• Produce technical documentation for spectrum-related tasks
Requirements:
• Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Minimum 2 years of experience in spectrum engineering
• Proficient in Matlab with additional programming language skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Eligibility to work in Canada with CGP clearance
