Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Application Developer (7+ years with C#) to develop scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks, Python notebooks, job orchestration, and cloud data platforms Join a project-focused initiative supporting vendor integration within a large banking workplace.

This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade data platforms across Azure Databricks, ADLS, ADF, Azure SQL, Airflow, SQL, and API service layers.

The position supports scalable processing of multi-millions of records daily while contributing to contemporary data engineering and automation initiatives.

This is a long-term contract prospect within a large technology team.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 79 Wellington Street West 12 months Must Haves 7+ years development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML.) delivering enterprise-scale data solutions Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks , ADLS , ADF , Azure SQL , and Airflow Advanced development using Python notebooks , SQL , job orchestration ,



and API service layers Experience building scalable data platforms processing multi-millions of records daily University degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related discipline Nice to Have Integrating AI into the SDLC using reusable prompts, skills, instructions, and agents Building enterprise-grade software and reusable frameworks Designing scalable solutions for high-volume data processing Responsibilities Develop and maintain technical solutions aligned with engineering and architectural design principles Design, build, operationalize, and support enterprise-grade data solutions across Azure-based platforms Automate data ingestion, transformation, notebook execution, job scheduling, and deployment activities Integrate automated and self-serve data pipeline, notebook job, and API service releases with operational processes Implement reusable data engineering frameworks and scalable processing components Collaborate with technology partners to identify and leverage data platform synergies Work with vendor platform providers and engineering teams to evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks
