Smook Contractors is seeking a Mine Site Coordinator for our Vale operations located in Thompson, MB.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial trucks or tractors to move goods and materials from one location to another.

Support project personnel in administrative, technical, and field‑support activities.

Repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul, and maintain heavy‑duty equipment, diagnosing and performing general maintenance and repair.

Lead HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and policy development.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license, Class 3 Water Truck Driver .

Experience operating equipment such as backhoe, dozer, forklift, grader, loader, packer, rock truck, tandem truck, tractor, and trailer.

Knowledge of air brakes and ability to detail hours spent on each type of equipment.
