As a Restaurant Manager at Tim Hortons, you empower and lead your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You have the knowledge, skills, and long-term vision to support the Senior Leadership Team and Restaurant Owner in running a successful business.
Operational Management
Ordering supplies and overseeing building maintenance, cleanliness, and security
Accountable for production of Always Fresh standards and waste levels
Financial Management
Using restaurant-specific information from the CPP (Continuous Performance Plan), plans and works to budgets, maximizes profits and achieves sales and transaction targets
Controls Food/Paper/Labour costs in the restaurant and administers payrolls
People Management
Accountable for recruiting new team members, performance management, including training and developing new and existing team members
Builds the restaurant's bench strength by identifying and developing high-potential employees
Sets goals and objectives for the team and ensures an open-door policy for all team members
Provides open communication with General Manager and Restaurant Owner
Guest Experience
Ensures high standards of guest experience are maintained and demonstrated as a top priority
Handles guest complaints and queries with professionalism and concern
Implements and instills company policies, procedures, and ethics in their teams
Health & Safety
Works in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
Ensures restaurant has a health and safety program in place
Conducts regular workplace inspections and responds to unsafe acts and conditions
Reports work-related injuries and illnesses to appropriate authorities
Performs accident investigations for all work-related injuries and illnesses
Requirements
Leadership experience in a restaurant or food service management role
Solid communication skills
Financial management ability including budgeting, cost control, and payroll administration
Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation
Recruitment and performance management skills
Proven experience in restaurant or food service management, strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, financial management and budgeting experience.
