Senior ServiceNow Developer
Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a high-impact enterprise technology environment. This role focuses on ServiceNow Discovery, MID Server configuration, CMDB optimization, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions across complex infrastructure environments.

Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week

Location: Hybrid - 2 days onsite / 3 days remote

Pay Range: $80 - $85/hour

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Duration: Through December 28, 2026

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and MID Server infrastructure for enterprise environments.

Develop and customize Discovery probes, sensors, and patterns for both on‑premises and cloud-based systems.

Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party applications and technologies while ensuring accurate CMDB population and data integrity.

Troubleshoot and resolve discovery‑related issues involving network connectivity, credentials, and infrastructure components.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve service visibility, automation, and operational efficiency.





Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and MID Server configuration.

5+ years of experience developing custom probes, sensors, and discovery patterns for on‑premises and cloud environments.

Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with third‑party tools and managing CMDB data population.

Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies including SNMP, WMI, SSH, APIs, JDBC, and credential‑based access.

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery or ITOM certification is considered an asset.
