POSITION SCOPE: Assumes responsibility for the dietary department in addition to housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services.
Ensures that the physical building, clothing, linen and property are maintained in a secure and sanitary condition for residents, staff and visitors.
Ensures that departmental goals and objectives are established that are consistent with the mission and values of the facility.
Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition with a minimum2 years of long term care experience or a Diploma in a food service-related field and two years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Experience in Environmental Standards, Safety and Preventive Maintenance
Food Services Supervisor''s training Skills Must have proven leadership and problem-solving skills., Experience and knowledge in geriatrics, long-term care a definite asset., Excellent communication skills required, Organizational and planning skills required, Conflict resolution required,
Labour relations and negotiation skills required, Familiar with payroll processes, Able to conduct interviews
