Java (Spring boot) Developer with API and Microservices expertise to support our insurance client''s Enterprise Application Integration team Duration: 6 Months (Option to convert to FTE/Perm) Location: Toronto (Hybrid, 3x/week) We are looking for a Senior Software Developer for the Enterprise Application Integration team within Data, Automation, AI, and Platforms.

Responsibilities: Delivers code based on specifications and/or develops, modifies, configures, maintains or integrates solutions to meet design specifications to meet business functional requirements and non-functional engineering specifications Configures and integrates software components and third-party software products, tools and solutions Facilitates and actively participates in meetings, walkthroughs and reviews of software development deliverables Delivers fixes and improvements to existing software products,



maintains settings and versions, adhering to standards and compile versions Ensures technical responsibility over assigned software products and codebases Must Haves: 5+ years of experience as a Java (Spring Boot) Developer with a focus on API, microservice s and event-based software development Proficiency in technologies such as Apigee Confluent / Kafka Liquibase Docker / Istio / Rancher / Kubernetes. SQL. RESTful and SOAP web services Proficient experience with: Database systems and data access methods Source code management and build automation systems Test-driven development and test frameworks Working with production/application support during a critical incident
