Role Responsibilities Are you passionate about government planning and reporting? The Ministry Services Division is seeking an agile leader with knowledge on planning and report requirements and project management skills to help deliver on many of the departments key priorities.

Reporting to the Director, Business Planning and Services, this position leads the Energy and Minerals business planning and reporting process from beginning to end.

The position leads the development and coordination of the Ministry''s business plan and annual report, consistent with strategic government direction, as well as performance measure development and evaluation for the Ministry.

This position works collaboratively with management from all divisions within the Ministry to effectively lead these priorities.

This position provides support to the Strategic Leadership Team by preparing appropriate information for the Ministrys integrated planning and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Planning and Reporting development of the business plan, annual report and briefing binders for Committee of Supply and Public Accounts.





Performance Management and Evaluations Coordinate and facilitate the development and reporting of performance metrics, related to business planning and reporting.

Lead, champion and facilitate the implementation of the department''s evaluation framework Lead the Ministry''s Risk Management Process.

Lead the development and coordination of department business continuity plans.

Support the Director in achieving Business Planning mandate and goals The successful incumbent must employ a high degree of analytical, evaluative and creative thinking skills, and proactively identify issues and recommend options for their resolution.

In solving problems, this position will require a robust awareness of the broad outcomes and priorities of the department to ensure issues are addressed in a coordinated and consistent manner.

This position requires excellent interpersonal relations skills and the ability to establish and maintain senior level relationships, as well as being an effective leader by managing a team of two analysts.
