Infosys is hiring Senior Full Stack Developer. We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Java Lead to design, develop, and lead scalable microservices-based applications using Spring Boot. The role requires solid expertise in backend development, API design, and modern DevOps practices, along with leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Canada or be willing to relocate to the area. This position will require travel to Toronto.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Required Skills

Lead the design and development of scalable microservices architecture

Develop and maintain robust Java/Spring Boot applications

Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services

Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, performance, and securityCollaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and solution design

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and deployments

Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables

Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues

Drive continuous improvement in development processes and technologies





8+ years of relevant experience in Java development

Prior experience in a technical lead or senior developer role preferred

Backend & Development

Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot

Experience in building Microservices Architecture

Expertise in RESTful API development and GraphQL

Experience in Web Application development

Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing

DevOps & Monitoring

Version control: GitHub

CI/CD tools: Jenkins

Container orchestration: Kubernetes

Messaging systems: Kafka

Scripting knowledge: Python (preferred)

Monitoring & logging tools: Dynatrace, Splunk

Caching

Experience with in-memory data grid: Hazelcast

Methodology: Strong experience working in Agile and Scrum environments

Preferred Skills

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to manage stakeholders and drive technical decision.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be: Ontario- $ 92,740 to $ 123,375
