Duration: 9 months Location: Hybrid, two days on site, Toronto location This role serves as the Retail and Merchandising Solution Architect for a high-visibility consulting engagement within a technology-focused setting.

The position combines hands-on functional analysis with ownership of D Retail solution architecture across merchandising processes, inventory, pricing, and purchasing workflows.

The successful candidate will validate and reverse-engineer existing solutions while acting as the primary retail and merchandising subject matter expert for client stakeholders and delivery teams.

Must Haves 10+ years in retail technology implementations with Microsoft Dynamics Retail/Commerce focused on Merchandising Brick-and-mortar retail , store operations , and in-store merchandising implementation experience Omni-channel retail solutions spanning physical stores , merchandising, and inventory management D Retail solution architecture, requirements definition , and functional solution design Data Management Framework (DMF)



Power Platform & AI Insights Nice to Have Microsoft Dynamics Commerce Functional Consultant Certification POS (Point of Sale) capabilities within D Retail/Commerce Retail industry background in a specialty or multi-store workplace Responsibilities Own the end-to-end solution design for D Retail Merchandising Elicit and document requirements across merchandising processes including assortment and category management, product and catalog setup, pricing and promotions, inventory and replenishment, and purchasing Translate requirements into D Retail solution designs Validate solution fit against standard D Retail capabilities and customization requirements Reverse-engineer and validate the existing solution workplace Advise client stakeholders on retail and merchandising capabilities Partner with the delivery team through build, testing, and deployment
