Duration: 12-month co‑op student term from September 2026 to September 2027.

Location: Arlo Office, Canada.

Arlo is looking for a top student with a robust interest in product testing a complex product that includes multiple clients, embedded firmware, and cloud storage. The Software Test team is responsible for validation and quality assurance of new products, new technologies, and current features. This work term offers exposure to state‑of‑the‑art IP cameras and home automation products, standard test methodology and techniques, and the commercial product development life cycle.

Responsibilities
Execute manual and automated tests based on customer requirements.
Write explicit bug reports for any software defects discovered during testing.
Assist development teams with troubleshooting customer or field issues.
Analyze software defects and verify bug fixes.
Develop and maintain automated test tools.
Create test plans and write test reports.

Job Requirements
Attention to detail and technical curiosity.
Experience in executing moderate to complex test cases.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Software test development,



programming, or scripting experience.
Knowledge of data communication, networking, and protocols.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
