The Prospect This position will manage multiple, ongoing tasks to ensure safe quality ingredients and finished products.
You will work closely with Manufacturing, shipping and Receiving Purchasing and Replenishment, Customer Service, Regulatory and Sales.
Position Description Test to positively release manufactured products and create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) Conduct incoming sampling and testing of raw materials Develop, update and validate analytical testing Investigate product non-conformance and customer complaint investigations Aid in the implementation of HACCP and GMP programs and procedures Support sanitation programs Support GLPs for equipment calibration, record keeping, lab supplies, etc.
Experience Science Degree or Diploma (Food Science an asset) Minimum 2 years experience within a Food Manufacturing or Quality Lab Proven success in a high volume work setting Working knowledge of Food Quality and Safety Programs Solid knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Access, and Power
Point Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Sales and marketing proficiency Education Food Science Degree
