What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Independently lead complex technical initiatives and drive technical direction across domain teams

Author Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to influence overall tech strategy

Take ownership of large functional areas, ensuring performance, security, and future-proofing solutions

Identify and integrate flexibility into company platforms to enhance engineering velocity

Lead engineering support, release, and on-call responsibilities for a 24/7 site

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

10+ years of experience in building large-scale, distributed web platforms/APIs, with 5+ years in an architect/technical lead role





Proven experience in creating and driving technical strategy and roadmap across multiple domains

Solid knowledge of end-to-end system design, including GraphQL/REST APIs, Messaging Systems, and RDBMS/NoSQL

Experience leading complex technical initiatives from inception to successful delivery

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in GraphQL is preferable

Strong mentoring and coaching skills that positively impact organizational culture

Ability to learn adjacent areas such as project management and product management to better support the organization
