Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proven track record of operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full time position, with 40 hours per week, and offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift to move and stack materials in a safe and efficient manner
Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
Inspect forklift for any defects or issues and report to supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid forklift certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Robust attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Basic computer skills
