Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment. The fleet includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil & gas equipment.

Responsibilities
Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment.
Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
Work with an incredible team in a safety‑focused environment.
Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment to avoid downtime.
Maintain a fleet of aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced workplace.
May need to provide own tools of the trade.




Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
Fluency in both English and French.

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 lbs or more, and working indoors or outdoors as needed.

Salary and Benefits

Base pay range: $25.69 – $35.33 per hour. The starting rate of pay may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
