Role Overview
Jardeg is recruiting for Steamfitter / Pipefitter Journeyperson to work with Woodland Constructors Ltd at the SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine
Select type and size of pipe required
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
Weld, braze, cement, solder,
and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
Have HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4–20” (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4–24”
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
Test system for leaks using testing equipment
Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment
Minimum Requirements
CSTS 2020 or SCOT
WHMIS 2015
Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
Confined Space (OSSA Preferred)
Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred)
Steamfitter / Journeyperson Certificate
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required
