Plaintiff Personal Injury (Tort) Legal Assistant/ Law Clerk

Salary: Up to $68K

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit and revise correspondence
Draft pleadings, motions, pre-trial/mediation memos, affidavits of documents and other legal documents
Prepare undertaking and productions




Handle client inquiries in a qualified manner
Organize and maintain client files to ensure deadlines are met and files are processed in a timely manner
Manage incoming mail and emails and maintain daily calendar
Schedule Examinations for Discovery and Mediations
Arrange medical legal appointments and prepare briefs
Other general duties as required

Qualifications
3 to 5 years plaintiff personal injury experience
Successful completion of a Legal Assistant/ Law Clerk program or commensurate experience
Primafact/Timematters experience is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Responsive and proactive with ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
