As a valued member of our LPN team, you will provide care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice and offer leadership and guidance to the personal care staff. This position is for our Extendicare Fort Macleod Home, located in Fort Macleod, Alberta.

Available opportunities include: Part‑Time/Casual; Day/Evening/Night shifts.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans.
Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work.
Assist in orienting and training current team members.
Medication delivery, wound care and other medical nursing treatments.




Communicate with physicians, transcribing and processing orders.
Communicate with RNs and other team members within facility and community.

Qualifications
Current registration with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
Current up‑to‑date certification in CPR‑Health Care Provider.
Compassion, professionalism, and respect.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
