The HR Intern will report directly to the Human Resources Advisor, contributing significantly to the HR department's efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing employee records, coordinating onboarding processes, and assisting with training programs. This internship focuses on fostering a strong cultural identity while building socio-economic independence within the First Nation community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle HR documentation and support employee record management
• Facilitate recruitment and onboarding processes smoothly
• Aid in employee training and benefits administration
• Help maintain a positive employee experience
• Support HR operations within a First Nation framework
Requirements:
• Identify as Indigenous, including First Nation, Metis, or Inuit
• New to the workforce or transitioning to a new position
• At least 18 years old
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Background in Human Resources or Business Administration
