As the Test Environment Manager, you will own the end-to-end management of non-production environments that support a predominantly automation-driven QA and testing team. Your mandate is to ensure environments are stable, compliant, and automation-ready, enabling continuous testing pipelines and supporting rigorous security protocols inherent to the financial sector. You will minimize downtime, enforce strict data governance, and ensure environments are precisely configured to mirror production for accurate automated test execution.
Skills & Requirements Experience: 10+ years in IT, with at least 3-5 years in Test/Environment Management, specifically within Banking, Financial Services, or a heavily regulated industry. Proven experience supporting automation-heavy QA teams.
In-depth knowledge of banking applications and data domains (transactions, accounts, payments, loans) and associated non-production security mandates.
Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
and their integration with test automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with secured workplace provisioning in cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premise data centres, following financial sector controls.
Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) for automation.
Extensive experience with test data management (TDM) tools and processes for data masking, subsetting, and synthesis in banking contexts.
Familiarity with service virtualization tools (Broadcom DevTest, WireMock) to simulate banking interfaces and third-party services.
