Your role will revolve around designing and developing embedded software for optical products, focusing on modular designs and real-time operating systems. Close interaction with hardware and optical engineers is crucial for effective control algorithms. You will be responsible for both recent product innovations and sustaining existing software products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create firmware driving DACs and managing peripherals
• Define optical control algorithms with engineers
• Develop software layers that facilitate gRPC communications




• Provide accurate design estimates for project management
• Follow best practices to ensure timely delivery of quality software
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience with embedded Linux/RTOS
• Robust knowledge of interfacing protocols such as UART, SPI
• Familiarity with analytical lab equipment usage
