What You'll Be Doing
Helping with personal care like bathing, dressing, and grooming
Preparing meals and helping with light cleaning
Assisting with medication administration
Accompaniment on errands or appointments
Providing friendly companionship and conversation
Supporting clients as they move around safely
Following a care plan and documenting care
What You'll Need
Health Care Aide Certificate, OR a foreign-trained nursing degree, OR be a current nursing student
Alberta HCA Directory registration (or ability to register)
CPR and First Aid certificate (or willingness to get it)
Negative TB test or chest x-ray
Valid driver’s license and reliable car
A kind heart and a desire to help others
