Empower clients facing mental health and addiction challenges as an Occupational Therapist at PRHC in Peterborough, Ontario. This full time role is integral to the HART Hub, providing client-centred care.
As a permanent Occupational Therapist, you will join a passionate Integrated Health Team at the Peterborough HART Hub. Your focus will be on recovery-oriented interventions, engaging with clients who have significant mental health and/or substance use concerns. You will utilize an evidence-based approach to enhance the quality of life for individuals while addressing homelessness and recovery needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct client-centred assessments and treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide rehabilitation and case management services




• Implement group programs and individual interventions
• Advocate for clients to access community resources
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Training in mental health and addiction intervention models
• 3 years of related work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for client transportation
