The Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services is seeking a Legislative Analyst to enhance Alberta's health care system. In this role, your focus will be on providing strategic advice, coordinating reviews, and tackling complex policy issues.
You will collaborate with various teams, ensuring legislative initiatives meet health objectives and community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legislative research to inform policy decisions
Analyze and assess risks of legislative options
Draft and review legislative documents and briefs
Coordinate with stakeholders on legislative processes
Support cross-government policy initiatives
Requirements:
Degree in English, Political Science, or related field
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Experience in legislative research and coordination
Proven ability in drafting legislative materials
Robust communication and collaboration skills
