Serve as a Child Youth Worker dedicated to enhancing the lives of young individuals in staffed homes. Focus on advocacy, independence, and collaboration within a vibrant multidisciplinary team.
This role includes empowering youth to become independent and engage with their communities. You will be responsible for developing Personal Service Plans and monitoring daily activities while ensuring the youth's rights and choices are respected. Fostering relationships with families and supporting youth with daily living challenges will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for children's rights and choices

• Support all daily living and medication needs
• Build solid, positive relationships with families
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and Child Youth Care diploma
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed and Recovery-Oriented Principles
• Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean record
• Criminal record check clearance and TB Test
