You will function autonomously in this role, delivering exceptional occupational therapy tailored to each resident's needs. Assessments, personalized therapy, and staff supervision are crucial, as is the collaboration with a diverse health team in education efforts to elevate care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed assessments of residents' therapy needs
• Design individualized therapy programs for residents
• Supervise and guide designated occupational therapy staff
• Facilitate training sessions for health care professionals
• Monitor and assess effectiveness of therapy interventions
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in practice
• 3 years of relevant occupational therapy experience
• Familiarity with the latest occupational therapy modalities
• CAOT membership eligibility required
